Robert S. Munakash

For Robert S. Munakash, Village 76 is more than a gas station—it is a business built on trust, customer service, and a long-term commitment to the community.

Growing up in a family involved in the service station industry, Robert learned early that success is earned one customer at a time. Those experiences shaped the philosophy that continues to guide Village 76 today: provide honest service, maintain a clean and welcoming facility, and treat every customer like a valued neighbor.

Robert graduated from the University of Southern California in 1990 with a Bachelor's degree in International Relations. In 1995, he purchased his first service station and has spent the past three decades building and operating successful neighborhood businesses throughout Southern California.

Dedicated to Serving the Community

As the owner and daily operator of Village 76, Robert is actively involved in every aspect of the business. Unlike absentee owners, he believes in being present, listening to customers, supporting employees, and continually improving the customer experience.

Under his leadership, Village 76 has evolved to meet the changing needs of today's drivers while maintaining the personalized service that local customers appreciate. Investments in technology, operational efficiency, and customer convenience have helped modernize the business while preserving the friendly atmosphere that has made Village 76 a trusted neighborhood destination.

Robert believes every customer deserves:

  • Clean, well-maintained facilities
  • Friendly and knowledgeable staff
  • Competitive fuel pricing
  • Fast, dependable service
  • A safe and welcoming environment
  • Honest business practices

These principles have helped Village 76 earn the loyalty of customers who return year after year.

Committed to Excellence

Operating a successful neighborhood gas station requires more than simply selling fuel. It requires attention to detail, operational discipline, and a genuine commitment to customer satisfaction.

Robert continuously works to improve Village 76 by investing in the property, enhancing operational efficiency, and ensuring the station meets the highest standards for cleanliness, safety, and service. His hands-on management style allows him to quickly respond to customer needs while maintaining the quality and consistency that the Village 76 name represents.

Building Long-Term Relationships

Robert understands that a neighborhood business succeeds only when it earns the trust of its community. Many Village 76 customers have been visiting the station for years because they know they can expect reliable service, courteous staff, and a business that genuinely values their loyalty.

That commitment extends beyond daily operations. Robert believes strong local businesses contribute to stronger communities by providing quality service, creating local jobs, and supporting the neighborhoods they serve.

A Philosophy That Never Changes

Markets change. Technology evolves. Customer expectations continue to grow.

One principle, however, has remained constant throughout Robert's career:

Treat every customer with honesty, respect, and appreciation.

That simple philosophy has guided his approach to business for more than 30 years and continues to define the experience customers receive every time they visit Village 76.

At Village 76, every customer matters, every visit is important, and every opportunity to serve the community is taken seriously.
